Happy New Year all, I hope 2017 has started well for you. It's -5 F Here in Gillette Wyoming, but the wind isn't blowing so things are actually quite nice.
I believe I just learned a few things that may address why some Windows 10 users may be having trouble starting iAnalyze. It turns out if you have Windows version K or N, some components are not installed. This is due to various EU and other jurisdiction rulings about monopolistic practices, or something. This means one of the DLLs for (DirectX Media Object) doesn't get installed in those cases.
You can find more about the problem and solution at StackOverflow (warning very technical).
The upshot is a "restore pack" needs installation. See this Microsoft article about how and what to install: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3145500
